POOL is
a national journal published annually in Los Angeles, featuring
fresh and unexpected poetry. Each issue carries cutting-edge
work by both established and new poets as well as reviews and an
interview with a prominent poet.
Congratulations to these

for inclusion in The Best American Poetry 2007:

Dean
Young's "Clam Ode" (POOL volume 4) was chosen for inclusion in The
Best American Poetry 2006, chosen by Billy
Collins.
Two poems from the
third issue of POOL were selected for
inclusion in The Best American Poetry 2005, chosen by
Paul Muldoon: Stephanie Brown's "Roommates: Noblesse Oblige, Sprezzatura,
and Gin Lane" and Maura Stanton's
"Twenty Questions".
Bruce
Smith 's "Song of the Ransom of the Dark" (POOL
volume II) was selected
by Lyn Hejinian. for inclusion in
The Best American
Poetry 2004.
The
